Toastmasters International is the world's premier educational 
organization for public speaking. Since 1924 Toastmasters has helped millions become effective speakers and leaders. Through a proven learn-by-doing program Toastmasters can turn your public speaking anxiety into self-confidence.
Everyone starts with two basic manuals -- one for Communication and one for Leadership. The program is self-paced. Each assignment is evaluated by your fellow club members who offer constructive feedback and encouragement. There are also speech contests, conferences and seminars outside of the club with specialized leadership training and featuring world champion speakers. And we have fun at all of these events. In the words of our founder Dr. Ralph Smedley, "People learn best in moments of pleasure."

The mission of Seminole-SPC Toastmasters is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
